It's as easy as sharing your photos and experiences from your favorite venues. Sharing and talking about your favorite venues increases your fan score and determines your influence.
What is a Fan Score?
We generate a Fan Score for every member. This is a number that is based on how active you are on A View From My Seat and other social networks. Your number will start at 0 and can build up to 100. The higher your score, the harder it becomes to increase.
How can I increase my Fan Score?
The best way to increase your fan score is to share photos from sports and music venues. Other things like trophies and your social connections also play into your score.
What is influence?
We look at how much you share, what trophies you've earned and how influencial you are across the social grid. Based on all this information, we give can identify which venues you talk about the most. These become your influencial topics and can change over time.
How can teams & brands use Fan Perks?
A team or brand can Run a Fan Perk. Fan Perks enable a team or brand to reach the fans that have influence in their area of expertise. As an influencer, you get first access to Fan Perks to share with your friends and audiance.
Why would a team want to offer me free stuff?
As an influencer, you're someone whos friends and peers look to when deciding what events to attend. A team or brand that offers a Fan Perk is confidenant in what they are offering and believes that if you like it, you will tell others about it. You are welcome to tell the world about your experience, or say nothing at all.
What is a good Fan Score?
The average Fan Score is around 20. The closer you get to 100, the harder it is to increase your score. It's much easier to move from 15 to 20 than it is to move from 55 to 60.
How do I change my influencial topics?
To make a specific venue more influencial, you simply need to share content about that venue. The easiest way to do this is to share photos from that venue and post them to twitter, facebook or tumblr as well.
How often does my Fan Score & Influencial Topics update?
Every time you take an action like sharing photos, connecting to a social network, earn a trophy or add a venue to your favorites. It also changes over time. Places that you loved a long time ago will not be as influencial as places your talking a lot about now.
