Major League Baseball

The Major League Baseball (MLB), founded in 1903, is the top professional American baseball league. The league, commissioned by Rob Manfred consists of 30 teams, organized into two conferences the American League and National League. Both the American and National League consist of three divisions the East, Central and West. Fans all over buy tickets to games or tune in on television, to watch their favorite teams play regular season games from April to September. The mid-July festivities of the All-Star game break up the season in half. Then in October, the Post-season games start and the two teams that survive them earn the honor to play in the World Series for the Commissioner’s Cup.
