Arena Football

The Arena Football League (AFL) was founded in June 1987. The league, commissioned by Scott Butera, consists of 8 teams that are organized into two conferences, the American Conference and the National Conference. Their regular season is eighteen weeks long, and then the teams play in a single elimination tournament for the post season. Every year, the two teams that survive the playoffs earn the honor to play in the Arena Bowl.
