Ted Williams

Ted Williams was born in San Diego, California in 1918. He played professional baseball for 20 years, all of which were spent wit the Boston Red Sox. During that time he was awarded the American League Most Valuable Player Award, the Associated Press Male Athlete of the Year, and was a two time triple crown winner. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1966.
