Ain't Too Proud , The Temptations
Situated just 6 rows from the stage on the right side this is a perfect seat to spend an evening at Ain’t Too Proud: The Life
  • Imperial Theatre, section: Rear Mezzanine 2, row: F, seat: 1
    Carousel
2nd to last row in the Rear Mezz. Beautiful theatre interior. A tad steep but could still see faces well. No sound issues either.
  • Imperial Theatre, section: Rear Mezzanine 5, row: H, seat: 1
    Ain't Too Proud
View was fine, some projections were blocked. Only complaint was the tight seating.
  • Imperial Theatre, section: Front Mezzanine 2, row: A, seat: 1
    Carousel
Off center, on the aisle. There's a bar that slightly obstructs stage right but not an issue if lean forward slightly.

Despite what your ticket says, this seat is front row orchestra, furthest seat to the right. If you have table and salon patrons seated in front of you (especially tall ones), this seat is miserable: Your neck will hurt from craning and constantly shifting to see the action on the stage. The stage left stairwell that leads to the mezzanine blocks some of your field of vision (including the downstage stage left stairwell) as well as much of the sound. I only paid $39 for a rush ticket for this seat. I would have been pissed if I had paid full price for this seat. The one upside apart from a "unique" angle? Lots of audience-actor interaction and close-up views of the actors.

Last row in front mez so plenty of cast members right behind and next to you during the show

Top row of center section, against the back wall of the theater. Still a great seat, as there is great cast interaction with the audience. There's even a platform two rows in front of this seat where performers dance at various times. This was a really fun show!
