  • Sam Wanamaker Playhouse at Shakespeare's Globe, section: Upper Gallery, row: DD, seat: 3
    The Tempest
Disappointing seats. Large part of stage out of view. Main part of set was only visible to those sitting downstairs or further around the gallery. Seats were terribly uncomfortable. No solid backrest. No armrests. Had to control foot movement in case of hitting patrons in front! Being high up, we were near to the candle lit chandeliers. Very, very hot! Absolutely stifling. The seats were not cheap. I expected a better view and a little more comfort/ventilation. The play was absolutely atrocious. We left at the interval. My first and last time at Sam Wannamaker!
  • Theatre Royal Drury Lane, section: Stalls, row: N, seat: 10
    The Tempest
This seat is towards the end of the row and off to one side. However you do get a fairly good view of the stage with very little obstruction (unless you get someone tall in front of you). It is fairly comfy with reasonable leg room.
  • Theatre Royal Drury Lane, section: Grand Circle, row: C, seat: 11
    The Tempest
    Great seat,fab view

This is the view when you lean forward in the seat.

Theatre Royal Drury Lane, section: Balcony, row: A, seat: 41
    The Tempest
This is the view when sitting back in the seat. Decent view considering the price. Will upload view separately to show how it looks leaning forward. If you have a coat and bag on the floor it can feel a little cramped for leg room

Best seat on this row as it’s got more space to the right side as it’s end of aisle but no aisle Only minor obstruction of the circle seating on the far right view A much better seat probably also cheaper is N9 the row in front. Good view for the price

Good leg room. Decent seat for the price but don't expect to be able to see the actor's expressions.

Theatre Royal Drury Lane, section: Stalls, row: X, seat: 16
    The Tempest
Good clear view of the stage. Whilst I was end of row/aisle (next to the door) there was another seat next to me but occupied by an usher. Im 5'7", I had good leg room. Nice temperature, didn't get too hot.
  • Globe Theatre at Shakespeare's Globe, section: Upper Gallery Bay J, row: J, seat: 3
  • anonymous 5 star theater seat view
Globe Theatre at Shakespeare's Globe, section: Middle Gallery Bay H, row: D, seat: 36 & 37
    The Tempest
Middle Gallery offers excellent view of the stage, Bay H is directly opposite the centre stage, Row D is under cover, out of the rain & sun & also has a wooden back, seats 36 & 37 are at the end so easier to access.
