Bill Russell

Bill Russell was born in Monroe, Louisiana in 1934. He played professional basketball for 15 years all of which was spent with the Boston Celtics. During that time he was awarded the NBA Most Valuable Player Award, All NBA-Team Award, and was a twelve time All-Star. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1975.
